Is ‘Wayward Pines’ season one worth watching?
There has been a lot of talk about Fox’s limited series, “Wayward Pines.” So much talk that Fox decided to give their one-seasoned-show a second season. Series creator Chad Hodge transformed the book trilogy of the same name and written by Blake Crouch into a mini-series that consisted of ten-episodes. Unfortunately, “Wayward Pines” will receive more than just their ten episode run, which in my opinion they do not deserve.
‘Winter is Trumping’ is hilarious
I’m not much of a politics guy. I follow it because my friends are really into it, but for the most part I find all political standpoints to be very one-sided and don’t even listen to arguments made by the other side.
‘Better Call Saul’ is exactly what we needed
While there may be dozens of fantastic shows out there, in my opinion, “Breaking Bad” is by far the best. The artistic appeal, the impeccable storyline, and the strong acting performances are only a few of the reasons why I can sit down and watch “Breaking Bad” over and over. This is why “Better Call Saul” was needed and thankfully just as good.
Eleven movies to be excited for in 2016
So I know I’m a little late with this list. I say a little but it’s really an entire month late. Truth is I wasn’t excited for any movies that were coming out in January and for those of you who say “The Revant” was a January film, in my mind it was a 2015 film and therefore can not be January. So while I still should have made a list like this in January, I hope you agree with me that it’s better late than never.
‘American Crime’ deserves to be watched
Everyone is talking about “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story” which is the biggest and latest crime show to hit television. I don’t blame them, it’s been great so far, but let’s not forget about “American Crime.”
Really? Three more ‘Fast and Furious’ movies?
When a major co-star dies due to a terribly unfortunate accident, how do you keep a franchise alive? “Furious 7” was one of the most interesting movie releases of 2015, mostly due to audiences wondering how they would finish the movie without Paul Walker.
Let’s talk about ‘The People v. O.J. Simpson’
First off, I need to tell you about how excited I have been for this series. It’s surprising that it took this long for the story of O.J. Simpson’s trial to be shown through a mini-series on television. It is the most notorious trial throughout the ’90s, as O.J. was put on trial for the double homicide of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her “friend,” Ronald Lyle Goldman.
Two more Daniel Craig ‘Bond’ films?
Listen, Daniel Craig is a fantastic actor. While I have absolutely loved watching him take on the role of 007 throughout the past ten years, I understand why he told TimeOut that he’d prefer to “slash his wrists” than to do another Bond film.
